I'm not "suggesting" anything, it's matter of fact really.
The WBM is ran, owned and operated by a private company, it crawls the net, copies entire websites, stores the content and then serves up content owned by other people all without permission. Illegal? Seriously?

"The Internet Archive said, “Internet Archive has no interest in including materials in the Wayback Machine of persons who do not wish to have their Web content archived. We recognize that Ms. Shell has a valid and enforceable copyright in her Web site and we regret that the inclusion of her Web site in the Wayback Machine resulted in this litigation."

All could have been avoided if the WBM asked for permission, or at the very least respected the laws and the owner Rights.

Jezta,
You seem like a poster I could enjoy.
I believe the depth of xoryx's bravery in action was covered in past posts. Do a search on either that name above or of The Nodnix for details.
AlbertinaMcNeill, sorry you feel wronged but two other known server farms and one governmental agency are currently doing a similar cache of all websites. Just because the big "G" oogle one does not advertise it, you can still find their cached search button if you try.
It you put it out, it will stick.
